Implemented Projects

- In 2004, "Mestia Business Consulting Center" implemented the UNDP program for "Registered Unemployed Persons" in Mestia region. Within the program 7 candidates were selected for whom, there was conducted training program in business planning. 4 business plans were prepared.

- In 2005, "Mestia Business Consulting Center", together with "Svaneti Tourism Association", conducted marketing research with purpose to study the tourism potential in Svaneti region, identify the existing tourist organizations, conduct analyses and elaborate the marketing strategy. This program was financed by the "Local Governance Program".

- In 2005, "Mestia Business Consulting Center" implemented "Employment Support and Small and Medium Enterprise Development Program" financed by UNDP. Within the program, two local enterprises prepared business plans and were subsequently financed. Also there were prepared business plans for 12 non-incubated enterprises. 45 unemployed persons were given different types of consultations.

- In 2005, "Mestia Business Consulting Center", by request of the Upper Svaneti sub-region government, together with "Counterpart Int", participated in preparation of a structured perspective plan for agriculture and tourism development. Program was financed by the UNDP.
