"Dusheti Business Center" (Dusheti)

The Union "Dusheti Business Center" was founded in town Dusheti to facilitate to the unemployment reduction and provide support to small and medium business development in Mtsketa-Mtianeti region, particularly, through provision of informational and business-consulting services, assisting of small and medium enterprises, startup entrepreneurs and farmers in private business development.

Scope of services provided by Dushet Business Center:

Business training for active and startup entrepreneurs;
Different kinds of business consultations;
Marketing researches;
Business plan preparation;
Informational service concerning legislative and other business related issues.

Projects implemented:

- 2004 -"Dusheti Business Center" participated in implementation of the training and consulting component of the"State Program of Temporary and Permanent Employment of the Unemployed Population". Within the program, 15 registered unemployed candidates were selected and provided with a 10 day training course in business planning. Eventually, 7 program participants prepared own business plans which were further submitted to the project partner bank for financing.

- In 2005 "Dusheti Business Center" took participation in the "Employment Support and Small and Medium Enterprise Development Program", financed by UNDP program. Within the program, 7 "incubated" companies were selected and for 2 companies were prepared credit applications that transferred to the bank for further evaluation .
