Akhalkalaki Business Center was
established in December 6, 2002, with the grant of "Open Society Georgia Foundation",
with active participation of Akhaltsikhe Business Center and "Association of
Business Consulting Organizations of Georgia".
The ultimate goal of the center is to support small and medium business development in the south region of Georgia; implement such projects, results of which will positively influence on improvement of social-economic conditions of population.
"Akhalkalaki
Business Center" carries out the following services:
- Business Plan preparation;
- Several kinds of business consultations in small, medium enterprise development and agri-business field;
- Marketing researches;
- Business training for active and start-up entrepreneurs;
- Informational service concerning legislative and other business related issues.
Business Center actively cooperates with "World Vision" and other credit lines.
Implemented Projects
- Coalition project - "Democratization of Educational System and Financial
Transparency". The abovementioned program is financed by the "Program of Protection
of Public Interests" (CAP) and the "United States Agency for International
Development" (USAID).
- Support and development of small and medium businesses in the region of Samtskhe-Javakheti.
This project aimed preparation of the population in general business-related
issues, creation of new job places, decrease migration processes and improvement
of social-economic conditions of population. The above mentioned project was
financed by "Open Society Georgia Foundation". Duration of the project is 1
year.
